A "Première", a success,
12 000 visitors !

The Malestroit Truce was the first peace treaty signed between the King of England and the King of France on 19th January 1343 under the supervision of pope Clement VI. The event took place in the Magdeleine priory. This 12th century leprosarium becomes now a worship place and hosts actors of the notorious “The one hundred year war”, Edward III of England and Philippe VI of the Valois.

Gérard Paugam, and his association Pendragon, gathers ten companies around the Malestroit truce reconstitution and perform the first show.

La Maisnie de KistreberhRenaud Beffeyte and his war machines, Fred Chesneau and his bear Julia, Waraok’s musicians, Philippe Bouron and friesian horses are all committed to make the first show a true success.

All, including 350 actors and volunteers, welcome in the city of 2400 inhabitants, more than 12000 visitors !

France Television broadcasts the event live on Sunday afternoon.
